Science Week

Third Class visited Louth County Library to listen to the stories of a blacksmith. His name is Tom King and he is from the Boyne Valley. He has been making sculptures, jewellery and pieces from steel for the last two years and explained the process of creating them. He also told many stories including myths, legends and historical tales. The girls asked many interesting questions and he was so impressed with their historical knowledge of the area. It was a great opportunity to see a master at work!
