Junior and Senior infants enjoyed a trip to the allotment on Hoey’s Lane today to see a shared vegetable garden where lots of people are growing their fruit and vegetables. We had an exciting journey there on a double decker bus before getting a tour around the different parts of the allotment to see the different fruit and vegetable plants. The girls then drew pictures in the sunshine and enjoyed an ice pop before returning to school on the bus. A big thank you to Ms Crosson and the lovely helpers in the allotment for such a brilliant day out!
