On Friday we took a walk to visit the Traveller Pride Event at Redeemer Family Resource Centre. We got such a lovely welcome and learned so much about the Travelling community, it was lovely to meet some mums and relatives from our school as well as past pupils and parents!
The girls were writing and discussing their experience today and sharing their knowledge. This event has sparked interested discussions and lovely opportunities for traveller children in our school to share more about their traditions with classmates. A local group were involved in the organising of Fridays event, pupils and staff agreed it was even better than last year. Continued success and thank you for inviting us!
