The girls had great fun experimenting with skittles during Science week. First, we gathered our equipment and made some predictions about what might happen.
The girls worked together and decided on a preferred pattern for their experiment. Next they placed the skittles around the plate. Then it was time to pour some warm water into the centre. We watched in amazement at what was happening!
Like the girls predicted, the warm water dissolved the coloured sugar coating which made a colourful rainbow pattern. This experiment was as fun as it was delicious!
