Science week
17th Nov 2025
We had great fun during Science week. On Monday we made acrobatic clowns to show the importance of balance. On Tuesday, we made bird feeders to ensure the birds have food at this time of year. On Thursday, we investigated if we could make raisins dance in water. We found out that it only happens in sparkling water as the bubbles move into the grooves of the raisins and as they burst, they move the raisins. Finally, on Friday we pierced a bag full of water with sharp pencils and it didn’t even leak. The air and water around the hole created a seal so nothing came out. The girls love Science and they came up with great theories and predictions before each experiment. Well done!
