On Thursday, as part of Maths Week, our school took part in a Measurement Workshop called “The Riddle of the Sphinx.” Dr. Colarado visited our school and led us through lots of exciting, hands-on activities. We worked in teams to create shapes using cones, making sure each cone was placed an equal distance apart. We also built shapes inspired by ancient Egypt. Using our problem-solving and maths skills, every class helped to successfully solve the Riddle of the Sphinx and unlocked the secret tomb. It was a fun learning experience for everyone!
