During the good weather, our class enjoyed reading in the sunshine! We were doing DEAR time , which stands for Drop Everything And Read. Even the teacher has to drop everything and read. Afterwards, a few children swapped books and they had a chat about what they thought of the books. It’s a lovely way to discuss what we’re reading and maybe try a new book that we wouldn’t have chosen ourselves!
