A great turn out to our parent forum in the Imperial hotel on Dec. 4th. The theme was Play, the benefits of play to children. We had Wendy highlighting the benefits of play. Then the parents got to go around the stands experiencing some fun activities! Returning to their own childhoods they played “street games”, ball games etc There were interactive stands showing Nature, Science experiments, Messy play, sensory play, Dundalk library. “Spend time with your kids not money” was the idea behind these activities based on items found in the household, twigs, stones, leaves, playing & entertaining your kids without devices.
