We have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. We started with little caterpillars in our classroom and today it was time to release our beautiful butterflies! Ask your child to talk you through the life cycle they observed.
We wrote letters to the butterflies and sang them a song before our Principal Ms. Murphy did the honours of setting them free. They were very friendly and came and sat on our hands and clothes before they said goodbye and flew away into the sunshine.
