We are learning about the Stone Age in Ireland approximately 5000 years ago. We’ve looked at how they lived, their homes, their food and even their clothing. We used berries and charcoal to design outfits for a Stone Age person. We created cave paintings that were found in Altamira in Spain. Finally, we heard all about how during the Winter Solstice, the sun lights up the chambers of the passage tomb in Newgrange. It’s been a very interesting topic and the class embraced it! Well done!
