This year we worked on our Incredible Edibles competition entry. We had to grow crops and complete five tasks to enter the competition. We learned all about growing plants and created a small school garden. We completed projects on farm to fork, kept food diaries for healthy eating week, wrote procedures and recipes based on the fruit and vegetables we grew and also sourced Irish grown fruit and vegetables in our local shops. We grew spinach, lettuce, turnips, chives, strawberries, potatoes and carrots.
