Congratulations Kaitlin who was our student of the week this week and who also got full marks in her end of week test!
Today we did some English grammar activities on our seesaw app. We also recorded our procedures that we wrote by doing demonstrations of how to complete various tasks. We also enjoyed some time out in the yard playing number and tables games and getting some exercise. We measured our pulse before and after exercise.
This week we started our first group projects based on the Vikings. Each group were allocated a topic to research on our tablets. We then typed up our facts on see saw and made a video presentation presenting our facts for our class blog. We learned about the elements that make a good presentation. For art we drew secret messages using the Vikings alphabet called Runes.
We learned about the function and structure of our hearts this week. Here the girls had fun finding our pulse, counting our resting heart rate, exercising and counting our active heart rate.
These girls got full marks in their end of week test. They got certificates and a homework pass. Keep up the good work
Here are the girls in our class who achieved full stamps in the month of December for having full attendance, being punctual, doing their work and homework properly and for having good behaviour. Well done ladies, we are proud of you. The girls are hard at work after their Christmas break. They are working on their first group project on The Vikings. Here they are researching their topics on our new tablets. Blitz had a lovely rest over the holidays and is ready to start visiting the girls at home again. She can't wait to read the adventures the girls write in her diary and hopes the girls really try to improve their writing.
