Cooking All Stars

We applied for and were lucky enough to be accepted into the pilot of Cooking All Stars with SuperValu. This is a new cookery programme designed to introduce pupils to the knowledge and skills they need to get cooking and to love good healthy food.

I hope to encourage our girls to get cooking and thinking about making healthier food choices.  Each lesson focuses on a key skill and a hero ingredient. We have thoroughly enjoyed the programme so far. The girls had great fun and I was delighted that some who normally wouldn't eat eggs or cheese tried the food they had cooked and really enjoyed it. Some have taken their new skills home and cooked for their families which is wonderful!
We hope to try out a few more recipies during our last term.
